These shots were taken from an office building overlooking the Bell Tower and the "mini" ferris wheel (bottom left). Unfortunately, because the window is heavily tinted with some kind of reflective material, I just couldn't get sufficient exposure on most of my shots. To further complicate the matter, I have office background reflections on the window :(
Well...may be will have better luck next year!

Nice shots
Long exposure ???
Have tried severaltimes but without success.
May be your new toy,... the 50D
lol
I have been trying to shoot fireworks for sometime now and although condition was not ideal but I think this was by far my best attempt. Most of my shots had exposure time of between 25-45s triggered by remote. Actually these were taken by using 400D :)
Good shots Kim. You're becoming a long exposure specialist :)
btw what did the office people say when you crashed their Australia day party? hee-hee!
Hehe, thanks Wayne :) Actually that was from my sister-in-law's office, I forgot which building it was but it has a great view over the foreshore, I wish my workplace was like that!
